The 2023 Avon Short Play Festival took place at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall from Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th March; with a matinee on the Saturday.

Hen's Teeth Productions represented the Avon Festival at the Western Area Final,

Journeyman Theatre Productions represented the Avon Festival at the AETF Western Area Final on 7th May 2022
Sodbury Players Youth Section (SPYS) went forward to the Five Counties Youth Drama Festival on 8th May 2022
These both took place at the Merlin Theatre in Frome

The Avon and Bristol Short Play Festival took place on 2nd & 3rd July 2021; thanks to all those who took part, and to our audience!
The winners - St Alban's Player's with their production of "On Scarborough Front" by Stuart Fortey and the runner-up - Actonians with "Syrinx" by Kate Mosse went be going forward to the Western Area Final on 17th July.
